Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Intent Chat (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorized to do so.

2. The Service

Intent Chat is a proactive, intent-based chat widget and dashboard that scores website visitor behavior, opens conversations, and helps you capture and follow up with leads. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for your account, keeping your credentials secure, and all activity under it. New accounts may require approval before access. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18.

4. Acceptable use

5. Your data & your visitors

You own the content and data you provide and that you collect through the widget on your site. You grant us the rights needed to host and process it to provide the Service. You are responsible for having your own privacy notice and for obtaining any consents your visitors' jurisdictions require (e.g. GDPR/ePrivacy/CCPA) before running the widget. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Fees

Paid plans, limits, and billing terms are described at sign-up or on the pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service, its software, and branding. You own your data. Nothing here transfers ownership except the limited licenses expressly granted.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (hosting, an AI model provider, and optional integrations like Slack). Their availability and behavior are outside our control.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate; you're responsible for reviewing and for what you send to your visitors.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use means you accept the changes.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
